I always have more than four cylinders.
Sometimes, though, I use fewer than five cylinders.
I was built south of the Mason-Dixon Line.
I am front-wheel drive.
What am I?

We have a winner! V-6 with 3-cylinder deactivation in Eco mode, built in Alabama, FWD. Did you need the hint or nah?

With just the first part, I figured it was going to be the Pilot or the Odyssey. The name being a reference confirmed it.

Right. So I was actually thinking people would assume a ‘Vette after the first part, since that’s a far more enthusiast-oriented car that uses cylinder deactivation, and is built in Kentucky. But then obviously the FWD thing kills that.

Unfortunately, Italy is north of the Mason-Dixon line, in terms of latitude.

I totally forgot that the new Vette has cylinder deactivation.
